Purpose of the site

AstroAlgos provides educational astronomy visualizations and explanations based largely on methods from Jean Meeus’ Astronomical Algorithms. Content is offered free of charge for personal and educational use.

No warranty

Positions, times and illustrations are computed with care but are provided “as is”, without warranty of fitness for navigation, safety-critical or professional use. Always cross-check critical data with authoritative sources.

Ads and affiliates

Some pages display Google AdSense ads and Amazon Associates links (tag teleguide-21 on Amazon.fr). See the Privacy Policy for details. Ads are not shown on the main full-sky canvas pages.

Intellectual property

Site design, code and original text belong to Laurent Remond / AstroAlgos unless otherwise noted. References to Jean Meeus’ work are for educational attribution; the book itself remains under its publisher’s rights.
